My Husband and I were in MB on Valentines Week, 07.
We were celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniv. We came to Olivers Sunday Brunch. It was the highlight of our Trip. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed sitting & talking in the beautiful surroundings. We can't wait to return !

I remember the hot Summer nights of my childhood, spent on the back porch at Olivers, waiting for my Shrimp dinner to arrive as the whole Family congregated. I was last in Myrtle Beach in 2004 and Olivers was closed. I thought it to be the end of an Era, but while researching for an article, I happened upon
your Website. Needless to say my Family will visit Olivers during our next visit to MB.

I was in MB last April. My husband & I stumbled upon Olivers and decided to give it a try. We had a wonderful meal. I especially enjoyed the Shrimp spread and the wonderful Bacon,Sausage & Shrimp Bisque. We are
looking forward to going back this spring break and having some more.

We had been coming to Oliver's for years. However, we quit coming about five years ago and recently decided to try it again. We were plesently susprised. The atmosphere is quaint and classy, yet relaxed. The food was out of this world. Especiall the Shee Crab Soup. Our server KP, was amazing. She shared the History of Oliver's and Murrells Inlet as it has been told to her from a resident of Oliver's for over 60 years. We will be back soon. I recommend this place to EVERYONE !

Born in Columbia S.C. in 1952.my family summered in Myrtle Beach and the HIGHLIGHT of those trips were our drive down U.S.17 to Murrell's Inlet to eat on the back porch of Oliver's Lodge. I can recall like it was yesterday my dad pointing out the dirt road at the end of which lived Mickey Spillane a.k.a. Mike Hammer!!
The pungent smell of the inlet the oyster beds, the Bump Board that used to entertain kids weathered and almost black, seemed like it must have been 50 or 100 years old back in 1962!! And even now  at 54 I can close my eyes and remember it all.
THANKS for the MEMORIES and thank God you're still open!!!
Kindest regards
Timothy & Robin  Cromer, Orlando ,Floridia
